Lucy’s Project is driven by the passion, dedication and enthusiasm of our members, supporters and volunteers. Become a member to help become more involved in our work and keep the organisation growing strong. As a young, growing organisation working hard to gain awareness and build services, we depend on the assistance of skilled professionals and hardworking volunteers to undertake our core work. We currently do not have any full-time paid staff and rely solely on donations and fundraising with no government assistance.
Why not get involved with a local working group in your area? There isn’t one? email firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s start one! It does not matter how many people are in your area. Starting or being involved in a working group puts you in touch with the support and resources of the network.
Our working groups do things such as arrange the conferences, event or training, help coordinate resources in the local area to support animals, coordinate research projects, liaise with council and local police, share ideas, offer support to each other, fund-raise and awareness-raise, hold stalls – and so much more. Our members bring exciting ideas to the table to progress the movement. Email email@example.com to get involved in your area of Australia.
No time for a meeting? Blog, tweet or Instagram about us or the issues. Talk about Lucy’s Project and our cause with your friends, community, council and consider us for your fundraising causes. Perhaps your school or community group would like to hear from a Lucy’s Project speaker?
